If you are installing you new oil priming pump, this fitting will be very helpful in many installations. It is designed to fit into many common drain plug ports, provide a new plug that you can remove for the usual servicing of your engine oil, but it also provides a 1/4" NPT port you can use as a supply to the priming pump.
