Inline Thermostat Housing, Dual Stat with O-Rings

Holds twin thermostats sold separately

The impetus for this specially designed housing was provided by the extreme demands of desert racing. Thermostats, crucial to engine temperature regulation, need to respond quickly and effectively to changing race conditions. This is especially important considering the complex engine management systems employed and the unpreductable results created by these electronics when when certain heat parameters are not met. By incoporating tandem thermostats installed on the high pressure side of the system, this innovative design helps to stabilize temperatures through the entire range of conditions. It also serves as a failsafe in case a thermostat sticks. It is lightweight, features a pair of mounting holes and the flow direction is clearly marked.
